Vitamin D and sun exposure
A new statement on vitamin D and sun exposure has been developed by the Cancer Society and Ministry of Health, with support from ACC. Vitamin D is important for strong bones and good health. The main way to get vitamin D is from sunlight on our skin, therefore a balance is needed between being SunSmart and getting enough vitamin D for good health.
